Rudy Giuliani has asked a New York judge for an urgent extension to his bankruptcy payment plan. While the former New York City mayor was supposed to have prepared a plan by June 17, he listed three changes in his life that he says require a two-month extension: his appeal against a $148 defamation judgment is ready to go; Hunter Biden has dropped a lawsuit against him, and his New York apartment has been placed on the market.
'The Debtor wholeheartedly believes a final outcome on the appeal would have a fundamental impact on the case,' they wrote.'The Debtor believes that the appeal would be successful and is not some pie in the sky pipe dream, but is grounded in solid legal analysis.'On the sale of his apartment, Giuliani's lawyers informed the court that he 'obtained permission and authority to have Sotheby's International as real estate broker to sell the New York apartment.
