“I was the kid on the field being the ball boy,” he responded. “I was always around the football, so I was on the field throwing it in high school, throwing it to the quarterback. Picton has already started at slotback when Williams was sidelined for the Riders’ 26-16 win over the Edmonton Elks on June 18. In three games, Picton has seven receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown.
