Jabatan Pendaftar Pertubuhan berkata, arahan khas melarang semua pertubuhan mengadakan apa-apa program dan mesyuarat agung adalah selaras dengan Seksyen 3A Akta Pertubuhan bagi membantu mencegah penularan wabak Covid-19.
Jabatan Pendaftaran Pertubuhan Malaysia selaku jabatan yang mengawal selia pertubuhan berdaftar di Malaysia berkata, larangan itu adalah terpakai di setiap peringkat pertubuhan termasuk cawangan di seluruh negara. ROS berkata, sekiranya sehingga pada tarikh 30 Jun, wabak Covid-19 dalam situasi meruncing maka pertubuhan hendaklah mengemukakan permohonan untuk pertimbangan bagi perlanjutan tempoh daripada tarikh awal yang ditetapkan.
“Diharapkan segala usaha dan langkah pencegahan yang dilakukan oleh kerajaan akan dapat membantu mencegah penularan Covid-19, sekali gus melindungi rakyat Malaysia daripada wabak itu,” katanya.
