The former footballer bought a majority stake in Real Valladolid in 2018 in a decision that was questioned at the time. The Spanish side successfully gained promotion to LaLiga after finishing second in the Segunda division.
Ronaldo has overseen the club spend three seasons in the topflight and one campaign in the lower campaign. Four years ago, he bought 51% of the club for €30 million before increasing his ownership by another 21% a year later.The report adds that Ronaldo is looking to move back to Brazil and plans to make this switch in two years time so that he is closer to his children.
The South American has reportedly revealed that he is open to offers to give him time to sell the club before he moves back. Valladolid's club budget has more than doubled since the change of ownership which makes it likely that Ronaldo will look for a bigger fee than he bought the club for. It must be said that the 2002 World Cup winner will only sell to a party who will be beneficial for the club.
