Ronald S. Lauder, a longtime director of The Estée Lauder Companies, has announced his retirement from the board. His son-in-law, Eric Zinterhofer, has been elected as his successor.
Ronald S. Lauder announced his retirement from the Board of Directors of The Estée Lauder Companies. He has named his son-in-law, Eric Zinterhofer, as his second designee. Mr. Zinterhofer was elected to the Board, effective immediately. Mr. Lauder served on the Board from 1968 to 1986, from 1988 to July 2009 and then from 2016 to his retirement in 2025. He will remain chairman of Clinique Laboratories, LLC. His first designee was his daughter, Jane Lauder, who already serves on the board.
Mr. Lauder joined Estée Lauder Companies in 1964 and served in various roles. Mr. Zinterhofer is currently a founding partner of private equity firm Searchlight Capital Partners.
