Rolls-Royce ushers in the Year of the Dragon with two limited-edition Phantoms, each adorned with intricate dragon motifs inspired by ancient legends and Chinese symbolism.

Rolls-Royce is celebrating the Year of the Dragon on the Chinese zodiac calendar with two special-edition Phantom s adorned with intricate dragon motifs . These exclusive vehicles mark the beginning of what is anticipated to be a series of limited-edition Phantom s released throughout the year. The Chinese Phantom Dragon edition draws inspiration from an ancient legend about two dragons who were bestowed with a pearl as a reward for their unwavering protection of humanity.

This story is subtly woven into the car's design. The interior is luxuriously draped in red leather, complemented by polished wood panels on the dashboard. The pinnacle of this craftsmanship is the marquetry adorning the top of the dashboard, where two dragons are meticulously depicted, their scales formed from exquisite wood inlays. They stand guard over the dash-mounted clock, representing the cherished pearl.Further bespoke touches elevate the Phantom Dragon's exclusivity. The starlight headliner features an abstract rendition of the two dragons, crafted in red and white using over 1,300 fiber optic stars. A unique touch is the inclusion of inlaid stainless steel circular Chinese zodiac calendars on the rear picnic tables. Each zodiac sign is represented by its corresponding Chinese character, with the dragon character prominently highlighted in gold. The U.S. Phantom Dragon edition, commissioned by Rolls-Royce of Orange County, can be exclusively ordered through this dealership. It incorporates dragon motifs throughout its design, including on all four headrests, where they are rendered in red accent stitching. Each embroidered dragon boasts a staggering 5,449 stitches, requiring a meticulous 70 hours of skilled craftsmanship. Completing the exterior is a hand-painted coachline on each side, subtly incorporating a dragon motif. The dragons are oriented toward the right, symbolizing the east
