Evice, a British company, is set to offer electric conversions for classic Rolls-Royce luxury cars starting in Spring 2026. The XP1 prototype showcases the company's vision for modernizing these iconic vehicles with electric powertrains and advanced technology.

Evice , a British company, recently unveiled a prototype of its conversion package for classic Rolls-Royce luxury cars, starting in Spring 2026. Called the XP1, it's a modified version of the Rolls-Royce Phantom, but Evice aims to offer conversions of other models like the Corniche convertible as well.

The XP1 features an electric powertrain that delivers an estimated range of 250 miles, likely as measured on the more lenient WLTP testing cycle, along with an 800-volt electrical architecture to ensure faster charging. The electric powertrain makes for a big improvement over the gasoline V-8 engines these cars left the factory with, but still a bit less than the 584 hp of Lunaz's modern electric coupe. Evice also claims to have upgraded the brakes, while an active suspension system aims to improve handling while preserving the ride quality of the original Citroën-derived hydra-pneumatic suspension. The restomod treatment encompasses the interior as well. Evice promises modernized climate control and audio systems, as well as heated and ventilated power-adjustable seats, a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay connectivity, and a rearview camera
