WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Rockets’ season will reach its end on Sunday. It is to be determined how more than the 2022-23 season will end against the Wizards.
The Rockets have not joined the packs of teams sitting their regulars to chase whatever advantages might be had with losses. They have gone 8-12 since the beginning of March when Kevin Porter Jr. and Jalen Green were back healthy and starting together. With wins in three of their past four games, the Rockets have seemed more interested in ending the season on a good note, rather than pursuing whatever benefits might be possible with a last loss.
