Cici Edmunds, the wife of rock legend Dave Edmunds, returned to social media last to give an update on her husband and his miraculous recovery after he suffered a major cardiac arrest recently and died in her arms.
Doctors brought him back, and Cici has since shared the news that there is a chance for him to fully recovery.“It will help him in case he God forbid has another cardiac arrest or any heart rhythm issues. It prevents him from being so affected by it and gives him support. A defibrillator and shock wave in case it’s needed. “Beyond delighted he got these devices put into him,” she added. “He is recovering really well, considering what he’s been through.” She added that doctors may let him go home for a visit, and if that goes well, he may be able to return home full-time. “I’m beyond words with excitement and gratitude,” she wrote. “Thank you to everyone for your support and lovely posts.” The latest update after she shared the stunning news on Tuesday that doctors believe her husband can make a full recovery. “Thank you everyone who has so kindly left many lovely posts of support and have touched my heart with your love and support through this heartbreaking difficult time,” she wrote. “As I told you all my beloved husband Dave Edmunds of 40 plus years suffered a major cardiac arrest and passed away in my arms but was by a miracle saved by a fantastic medical team in the hospital who resurrected him and intubated him.”“It seems positive. Yeah! He’s breathing on his own now. He remembers me. Go figure. Ha. Ha. He’s even cracked a few jokes, etc. And it appears he has a knack for trying to recall and remember things! I can’t begin to tell you how relieved I feel. He still has a long road to recovery. We still have a long road to recovery. But there is hope now. And I hope and pray my fantastic funny talented husband Dave will be rocking the house down in the future. Bless him.” Cici thanked her nurse who helped save Edmunds when he had the cardiac arrest at home and the team in the ICU as well as fans. “It’s truly a miracle that Dave is still here with us after being dead in my arms for between 20 seconds to several minutes,” she said. “He is alive and recovering.” It was amazing news for fans of Edmunds, and they flocked to social media to send their love and prayers.that Edmunds is best known for his 1970 hit, “I Hear You Knockin’.” He is also known for his time alongside Nick Lowe in the band Rockpile. The outlet said Edmunds has also collaborated with some big-time artists including Paul McCartney, the Stray Cats, the Fabulous Thunderbirds and Status Quo.
