Covington has a career-high 43 points with 11 3-pointers and Amir Coffey scores a career-best 32 as the hot-shooting Clippers set a franchise record with 153 points.

And a lot of them came courtesy of Covington, the 31-year-old wing from Bellwood, Illinois, just about 88 miles away from Milwaukee. He said his parents were in the stands somewhere to witness his 3-point barrage, which tied him with Malik Beasley and Bojan Bogdanovic for the most in a game this season.

Among the 14 players sidelined Friday were Antetokounmpo and teammates Khris Middleton , Jrue Holiday and Brook Lopez for the Bucks, who won an overtime game in Brooklyn on Thursday.
