Padres pitching prospect Robby Snelling strikes out six over six strong innings in Double-A San Antonio loss

Robby Snelling got back to being quality on Sunday. It just wasn’t enough for a win. Snelling allowed three runs on six hits and three walks in his first start since May 29. He’d allowed 11 earned runs over his previous two starts , a mini slump for the Padres second-ranked pitching prospect. Snelling is 1-5 with a 5.06 ERA, 42 strikeouts and a 1.
