A little more than a year ago, the athletes made national headlines when they spoke out against the NCAA, after a transgender athlete who was formerly on the men's team tried to compete with the women. The transgender athlete withdrew their request to join the team before ever competing, but many members of the women's team were outwardly against the move, claiming it was an attack on the future of women's sports."The brave members of the swim team stood up to the transgender fanatics. Something new in our country," Trump said.
