The Richmond Heights Police Blotter reports a variety of incidents, including shoplifting, domestic violence, a missing package, fraudulent check cashing, and a vehicle fire at a gas station.

A man in Richmond Heights, Missouri, was caught stealing a cart full of merchandise after promising to return with his EBT card. The incident occurred when the man brought the cart to the checkout counter and informed the clerk that he had forgotten his EBT card in his car. He requested permission to leave the cart in the vestibule while retrieving the card, but instead, he walked out of the store with the cart.

As the clerk approached and confronted him, demanding payment, the man loaded the stolen items into his car and drove off. However, he was later identified through his vehicle registration. In another incident, a resident reported a known woman pounding on her door and claiming to have a gun on January 9th. While officers arrived to find the woman had already left, the resident requested a trespass warning against her. Officers contacted the woman, who denied having a gun or acting disorderly, stating she was simply there to see someone residing at the address. The Richmond Heights Police Blotter also recorded several other incidents, including a domestic violence arrest, a missing package report, cases of fraudulent check cashing, and a vehicle fire at a gas station. The blotter details a man arrested for domestic violence and strangulation on January 5th after officers responded to a disturbance involving his ex-girlfriend. Upon his release from jail two days later, he reported that his vehicle had been taken without permission while he was in custody. A woman reported a missing package sent to her by her sister at the Dorchester apartments on January 6th, while another woman reported fraudulent check cashing totaling over $6,000 in her and her deceased sister's names on January 7th. Surveillance footage revealed a former tenant stealing the contents of several packages. She claimed to have been evicted but never returned her building key. On January 8th, while officers were on a courtesy visit at Sunoco, a woman rushed into the store, alerting them to a vehicle on fire next to a gas pump. The clerk quickly shut off the gas while officers attempted to extinguish the fire with two fire extinguishers, which proved ineffective
