The release year of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker included many other sequel trilogy era tie-in stories, one of which was the Age of Resistance comic series. Each story focused on a different character from the sequels, and unsurprisingly, Rey's is the subject that could tie so well into New Jedi Order.
