One recent retcon made by Star Wars has proven that Luke Skywalker wasn't the only Jedi who served within the Rebel Alliance's forces. As Star Wars has developed, more and more Jedi, specifically Order 66 survivors, have entered the picture - even in the original trilogy era.
A retcon from Star Wars Outlaws that officially dates the Great Purge of Mandalore, first mentioned in The Mandalorian, in 3 ABY - a year in-universe before the Battle of Endor - proves that Luke wasn't the only Jedi active in rebel forces during the Galactic Civil War. The Ahsoka series made it clear that Ahsoka Tano was training Sabine Wren as her Padawan when the Great Purge happened, and that it was the biggest reason why the two ultimately went separate ways.
What Did Ahsoka & Sabine Do During The Galactic Civil War? Why Was Luke the Only Active Force-Sensitive in this Conflict? If Ahsoka and Sabine really were around to help during the Galactic Civil War, then the nature of their role remains in question. Evidently, they weren't present at any of the major battles seen in the original trilogy - at least, not in the same way Luke was.
