Glasgow residents have accused workers laying cables of “trashing” their area with dug-up sites sitting unfinished for weeks.
A partially covered hole on a road, a play area torn up with tyre tracks and street clutter blocking pavements for about a month are some of the problems facing Wellhouse people in the Baillieston area.
It is understood workers are laying cables for internet access and firm City Fibre is rolling out the scheme. But residents want to know when it will be finished. "It is clear that there has been very little consideration shown towards the residents of Wellhouse during these works and their safety and wellbeing has not been considered.
