In this week’s Broadview Heights Police Blotter, police were dispatched to a Tollis Parkway address regarding a fraud complaint.
An arriving officer talked to the caller, who said that two days earlier, someone had used his debit card to make a fraudulent $267 Amazon purchase.The man and his wife stressed that they didn’t buy the items.On Aug. 12, police were dispatched to a Broadview Road auto body shop regarding a stolen vehicle.
The caller said a man, for more than a decade, had been storing his Chevrolet Silverado in the parking lot, but he never made any payments.Surveillance footage revealed that a tow truck had removed it from the parking lot.
