Ogles, a staunch conservative serving his second term in the House, stated, 'He is dedicated to restoring the republic and saving our country, and we, as legislators and as states, must do everything in our power to support him.'He emphasized the need to provide President Trump with the resources necessary to reverse the course set by the Biden administration, claiming Trump is the only figure capable of restoring America to its former greatness. Ogles' resolution seeks to revise the 22nd Amendment, which currently limits presidents to two terms, to read: 'No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than three times...'Ogles' move followed a House resolution introduced by a New York Democrat, reaffirming the 22nd Amendment's application to two terms, specifically addressing the 78-year-old Trump.
