There’s a tax for that, too! New York has the fourth-highest state and local tax and fee burden on wireless services. It needs reform, it needs it now, and in 2026, I’m hopeful we can deliver it — by electing a new governor.But in the meantime, Hochul’s extravagance should not stop President Trump and our Republican majorities in the House and Senate from agreeing to reasonable increases to the cap on SALT.
