The release date of the highly anticipated second series of the BBC crime drama Bloodlands has been announced.
Jimmy Nesbitt is back to play the lead role of cop turned assassin in the gritty drama set in Northern Ireland. Bloodlands 2 began shooting the second series in February and was created and written by Chris Brandon.Peaky Blinders star Charlene McKenna will return as DS Niamh McGovern and Victoria Smurfit joins the cast as Olivia Foyle, an enigmatic widow at the centre of Brannick’s latest case.
