Volunteers are helping rebuild fences around Bonton Farms, an organization that provides fresh produce to the community.

WASHINGTON — Access to Reddit appeared to be down for tens of thousands of users on Thursday as the social media company works to fix the tech issues behind the outage. an outage tracking site, indicated the problem began around 12:30 p.m. Eastern.
In a follow-up post at 1:15 p.m. Eastern, Reddit said they had identified the issue and that the site should be back shortly. In March, the company was publicly listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker RDDT, and began trading at $47 per share. Since then, it has ranged between $50 and $45 per share.
Last year, the company faced a revolt by volunteer moderators working on the site's many"subreddit" message boards over changes to its API system that essentially ended access for a number of beloved community apps. That short-lived protest saw many popular boards go dark, with users unable to post new content or comment on older posts.
