Red Land boys wrestling used a big run of wins to beat Central Dauphin to earn its third win of the year Thursday.
Red Land boys wrestling earned its second win in its last three matches Thursday, beating Central Dauphin East 46-30 in a Keystone division matchup. Enashay Gephart and Christopher Hershman started the day with six points each for Central Dauphin East, but Aydin Carroll answered with a fall for Red Land.
James Neopaney then earned a fall to give Central Dauphin East an early 18-6 lead. The Patriots rattled off five straight wins to take the lead. Piercen Hoffman and Maclane Englert led the charge with falls, and Mason Estep earned a forfeit win. Amare Holmes and Kyle Wonders also contributed wins to the run. Jamarcus Metz snapped the streak with a fall for the Panthers, but James Davis and Tyson Kirchner sealed the win for Red Land with back-to-back wins via fall. Brian Mosley capped off the day with a win for Central Dauphin East. Red Land moved to 3-1 with the win.
