It's no secret that I adore Red Dead Redemption 2 with all my heart, to the extent that one of my spiciest video game takes is that I'd cancel GTA 6 tomorrow if it meant we could get Red Dead Redemption 3 this November instead.
I said what I said. Of course, Red Dead Redemption 3 is still little more than a glint in Rockstar Games' eye, which is why I have to find my fun where I can. As such, my new obsession is LEGO Red Dead Redemption. I need it. I want it. I must have it all. LEGO Red Dead Redemption Is Everything Yer alright, my bricky boah I do want to be clear that at the time of writing, LEGO doesn't have any official Red Dead Redemption sets. But if it can happen for Mario, Zelda, and Pokémon, who knows what the future might hold? No, for now I'm tiding myself over with a range of genuinely excellent fan creations that imagine what Red Dead Redemption might look like in LEGO form, and the answer is glorious. Take, for instance, this fantastic look at a fan-made LEGO Red Dead Van der Linde Gang, complete with train. What were they doing on that train? Nothing lawful, I'd wager. “Van der LEGO gang for the win!” replied Ok_Yoghurt_7910. “Take my money. Just take it. I want it,” added that_bass_guy03. “We need more studs, Arthur,” another Reddit user quipped, while Riyan pointed out that bald Micah is"cursed." Can't say I disagree, to be fair. That's not all, though. Take a moment to appreciate this Reddit user, who put together their own minifigs for some of Red Dead Redemption's major players. "I just finished playing RDR2, and I had to make the entire Van Der Linde gang, as well as Arthur Morgan’s friends and foes into LEGO. I’m super satisfied with how this showcase turned out. My YouTube tutorial is live, so check it out," they wrote. I'd urge you to check out that YouTube tutorial if you're at all interested. You can find it here. Finally, it would be remiss of me not to mention this fantastic recreation of Red Dead Redemption 2's house-building scene with LEGO characters. This might be the best of the bunch, but it's stiff competition. Basically, LEGO Red Dead Redemption is clearly the future. I Almost Don't Want Red Dead Redemption 3 Now... Almost Assuming we ever actually get a third game At this point, LEGO Red Dead Redemption is about as likely a prospect as Red Dead Redemption 3. A third game has been raised a few times, but it sounds like we'll be waiting an incredibly long time for Red Dead Redemption 3. A former Rockstar Games developer said in a recent interview that he doesn't believe the game will launch until 2032 at the absolute earliest, which is... upsetting.
