Chavez explained that they want the public to make informed decisions and they always encourage them to do so safely."If they're at a park and it is getting into the triple digits, it's getting quite hot. It might not be the best time to take a hike. It might be better to, you know, go for a drive through the park, do some wildlife photography, and do things of that nature," he said."I make sure to bring lots of water and snacks," she said."I think you need to plan for yourself if it's 'I'm too hot,' don't go," Poole said.
