This is the only Pagani Zonda Revolucion with an exposed blue-tinted carbon fiber body. Powering the track-only weapon is a 6.0-liter AMG naturally-aspirated V12 with 789 hp. The ultra-rare Zonda hit 178 mph while storming down the back straight at COTA . There are just five Pagani Zonda Revolucion models on the planet, and given its rarity, the lucky few who own one could be excused for locking the car away in a garage and never driving it.
However, a particularly desirable blue carbon-fiber example resides in the US and the owner is not afraid to take it to the track, recently hitting the Circuit of the Americas F1 for a few private laps. As most of us will never have the chance to drive a rare, track-only Zonda like this on the track, this awesome POV video is probably the closest we’ll ever get to seeing and feeling what it’s like behind the wheel. As you can imagine, the experience is dominated by the glorious Mercedes 6.0-liter naturally-aspirated V12. Prices of rare Zondas have gone through the roof in recent years, and this car could fetch more than $10 million, should the owner ever decide to part ways with it. We have to tip our hat to the owner for not just driving the car at COTA, but also pushing it to its limits. From jumping the curbs and taking some of the high-speed corners at over 93 mph (150 km/h), the driver certainly wasn’t holding back. Down the circuit’s back straight, the Zonda hit 178 mph (287 km/h) and was still pulling hard when the driver jumped on the brakes.
