Luiz Felipe is set to join Al-Ittihad just days after Betis boss Manuel Pellegrini said it would be 'irresponsible' to sell him after the close of the European transfer window.
Rangers’ Europa League rivals Real Betis are on the brink of losing star defender Luiz Felipe with the Italy International set to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad.
And now reports suggest Felipe is ready to complete a move which is a boost to Rangers, who welcome Manuel Pellegrini’s Spanish La Liga outfit to Ibrox for Europa League Group matchday one on September 21. The 26-year-old, who moved to Estadio Benito Villamarin from Lazio where he spent four years, has played all for games for Real Betis this season and considered a key player for Pellegrini’s side.
