García finished with 15 RBIs in the ALCS, breaking the MLB record for most RBIs in a single playoff series. That mark was previously held by, who did so in the 2011 ALCS — as the slugging right fielder for the Texas Rangers, just like García. His five home runs — all hit within the series' final four games — are also tied for second-most all-time in a postseason series behind Cruz's six in that 2011 ALCS.
García is also on pace to set the MLB record for total RBIs in a single postseason.
