People wait for the doors to open Tuesday at celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s third Ramsay’s Kitchen restaurant at 39 W. Jefferson Ave. in downtown Naperville. Tuesday was the business' opening day. She signed up weeks ago for the Ramsay’s Kitchen E-Club, which gave her early access to the reservation system, she said. That allowed Narula to book a table late last week for an afternoon spot Tuesday.
“I also had one of their mocktails, which was really nice,” Narula said of the hibiscus sour, made with hibiscus tea, lemon and simple sugar.Narula said she liked the kitchen’s open design, which allows customers to observe the chefs preparing the food.The host and wait staff were very welcoming, she added. “We will definitely be back again,” she said.
North Central College physician assistant student Nelly Casas, of Naperville, uses her phone Tuesday to try to make a reservation at Ramsay’s Kitchen on its opening day.
