Still, a stray convergence zone shower will be possible near the border of Snohomish and King counties overnight. A few isolated lowland showers continue into early afternoon before drying out for Thursday evening. Lowland rains will continue into the afternoon around many Seattle neighborhoods, and even lightning/hail cannot be ruled out. Mountain snows are already falling over the Cascades and Olympics, and snow levels will drop in the next 24 hours. The central Washington Cascades through Mount Rainier are under a winter weather advisory through Thursday morning for the threat of 5 to 10 inches of snow above 3,500 feet. Wednesday afternoon and evening, snow should mix in with rain at Snoqualmie Pass. Pass travel may become dangerous and slippery, especially Wednesday evening through Thursday morning. Forecast models are timing out a drier Friday morning, followed by the next push of rain Friday afternoon and evening. Showers continue off and on Saturday with a wetter Sunday.
