In a separate race, Parma City Councilwoman Linda Kohar and Angela Schwark, appointed to the board of education earlier this year, are seeking to fill the remaining two-year term of former Board Vice President Amanda Karpus, who resigned from her position in early 2023.All candidates were emailed questionnaires.Parma City Schools Board of Education candidate Nadine Jamison. I’ve been a member of the Parma community for seven years. We moved to this area to be closer to family in 2015.
Parma City Schools Board of Education candidate Angela Schwark. I am not done yet. My love for this district grew through my PTA involvement, and I want to help make it the best that it can be for our current and future students. My children are very young, and we have a long way to go in their education. I love this community and want to help bridge the gap between it and the district. I believe we are getting closer to fiscal security and better transparency -- and I want to see that through.
