During her first solo outing since Buckingham Palace announced King Charles III’s cancer diagnosis earlier this week, Queen Camilla shared an update on her husband’s health as he begins outpatient treatment.On Thursday evening, Camilla attended a musical event at Salisbury Cathedral that supported the work of local charities like the Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust, the Wiltshire Air Ambulance, and Community First’s Youth Action Wiltshire.
While the specific type of cancer has not been announced, Bazaar understands that the diagnosis is not prostate cancer.“The king is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure,” the palace said in a statement. “He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible.
