LA PLATA , Md. — A professional cornhole player who is a quadruple amputee is facing murder charges in Maryland .The La Plata Police Department initially responded to the shooting after witnesses flagged down officers for help.
According to the sheriff’s office, while Webber was driving, he shot and killed a front-seat passenger during an argument. The Charles County Sheriff’s Office said Dayton James Webber, 27, shot and killed a man during an argument Sunday night.Webber reportedly pulled over and asked the back seat passengers to “help pull the victim out of the car.” The back seat passengers told police they refused to help Webber, got out of the car and left the scene.The victim was identified as Bradrick Michael Wells, 27. Officials said Webber and Wells knew each other.Detectives from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office obtained a warrant for Webber’s arrest.
