Dayton Webber, the quadruple amputee athlete accused of shooting and killing a man, is now back in Maryland to faces charges.

Deputies did not say what the argument was about, but described it as "heated."Deputies said Webber, who was driving, then shot Wells twice in the head. Two more passengers were in the back seat, and all four people in the car were friends, according to investigators. Soon after the shooting, investigators said Webber then pulled over in the area of Radio Station Road and Llano Drive, and asked the other passengers in the back seat to help him pull the body from the car. The witnesses refused and got out of the car, before Webber drove off, according to deputies.Deputies said Webber drove away from the Radio Station Road area with the body still in the car. Nearly two hours later, someone living in the 10000 block of Newport Church Road in Charlotte Hall reported a body was found in their front yard. Investigators said Webber's car was tracked down to Charlottesville. He was found at a nearby hospital being treated for a medical issue, according to the release. Webber was released and arrested.
