Local neighbourhood officers from South and West Belfast attended, where two groups were 'attempting to confront each other'
Last night, Sunday October 15, officers received a report that up to 40 young people were within the vicinity of Glenmachan Street and Broadway area at approximately 5.45pm.
Inspector Róisín Brown said: “I am, again, asking young people to stay away from the area as this week begins and think about the potential consequences of their actions. It is not harmless behaviour, and I am worried that someone will get seriously hurt. No one wants that. "You can ring us on 101, report online at www.psni.police.uk/makeareport, or speak directly to your Neighbourhood Team."
