Film crews for DC's upcoming 'Superman' transformed Cleveland City Hall into Metropolis City Hall for a scene scheduled to be shot on Tuesday.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Production on DC’s upcoming “ Superman ” continued in Downtown Cleveland on Tuesday, though the action is noticeably quieter than it was 24 hours earlier. By early afternoon, there were still no public sightings of the film’s stars including David Corenswet , Rachel Brosnahan , Nicholas Hoult or Edi Gathegi .
In fact, the film’s set on Superior Ave. has already been cleared of the fake rubble, military vehicles, crumpled cars and blue screens used in scenes director James Gunn shot on Monday. Instead, crews spent the morning setting up huge spotlights near the Leader Building, which is being used in the movie as the offices of The Daily Planet newspaper.
