A release from the city says they are not actively negotiating with the attackers, and they do not intend to respond to their requests.The City of Cleveland is a victim of a crime, and we are actively investigating the attack on our community. As a matter of security, we can not share the details of the demand; only that it was ransomware. We are not actively negotiating with the attackers, and we do not intend to respond to their requests. At this time, we have no intent of paying the ransom.
City Hall opened Thursday for four hours with abbreviated services.
