A TV show version of Life is Strange has been in development for almost a decade, with Prime Video buying the rights in fall 2025 following a deal with Hulu that never materialized. Prime Video just announced that Maisy Stella has signed on to play Chloe on Life is Strange, while Tatum Grace Hopkins has joined the cast as Max.The showrunner and writer is Charlie Covell, who already has experience with small-screen adaptations after writing the British series The End of the F***ing World, which is based on a graphic novel. They also created the one-season Netflix series Kaos and have acted in shows like Fortysomething, Midsomer Murders, Law & Order: UK, The Inbetweeners and Misfits. Covell is also executive producing Life is Strange with Dmitri M. Johnson, Michael Lawrence Goldberg and Timothy I. Stevenson.
