This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.Fallout has blown up a Prime Video record. The post-apocalyptic series based on the hit Fallout games has been a massive success for Prime Video.
Season 1 released all episodes at once in 2024, while season 2 shifted to a weekly episode drop approach, beginning with the premiere that came to the streaming platform on December 16, 2025. The new release format appears to have paid off as Prime Video announces that Fallout season 2 had the streamer's second-highest viewership of all time for a returning series. 100 million viewers across the globe engaged with Fallout seasons 1 and 2 in the first 91 days following the new season's debut, and season 2 on its own reached 83 million viewers in that time as well. Both seasons are in the top four all-time viewership compared to all other Prime Video series. Season 2 was also Prime Video's most-watched show in more than 80 countries during the first 91 days, and 53% of the audience was international with outsized viewing in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Brazil. Read a statement about the streaming success below from Peter Friedlander, Head of Global Tevision at Amazon MGM Studios: Fallout continues to resonate in a powerful way with our global Prime Video audience, and reaching 100 million viewers is a testament to the incredible creative vision of our collaborators at Kilter Films, Bethesda Game Studios, Geneva, Graham, and the entire cast and crew. The show's performance reaffirms this, with S2 now joining S1 as two of our top four biggest seasons we've ever launched. We’re thrilled to see the franchise continue to grow as we head into Season Three. 243 9.2/10 8/10 Fallout 10 stars 9 stars 8 stars 7 stars 6 stars 5 stars 4 stars 3 stars 2 stars 1 star Like Follow Followed TV-MA Sci-Fi Action Adventure Drama Release Date April 10, 2024 Network Amazon Prime Video Showrunner Lisa Joy, Jonathan Nolan Directors Frederick E.
