Ryan Day was impressed by Carnell Tate, says the defense 'dominated' in stretches on Saturday and that Marvin Harrison Jr. in the slot is 'something for the defense to consider.'

Visiting recruits, media members and the Ohio State student body all showed up at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center Saturday to watch the Buckeyes' second scrimmage of the spring.

"I think we're playing hard, I think we're working at it." Day says"we certainly have some guys that are missing on both sides of the ball," but thought the defense"pretty much dominated the winner-loser" aspect of practice."A lot of the young guys are really grinding, stacking days."On Carnell Tate having a big day, Day says"there's a lot to be impressed with Carnell. But I think the first thing is his maturity.

Day says"we're gonna need to step up and be a contributor this season," and acknowledges that he's flashed in both scrimmages thus far.

Romania: Andrew Tate to leave jail, put under house arrestRomania: Andrew Tate to leave jail, put under house arrestAn official says Andrew Tate, the divisive internet personality who has spent months in a Romanian jail on suspicion of organized crime and human trafficking, has won an appeal to replace his detention with house arrest. The Bucharest Court of Appeal ruled in favor of Tate’s appeal, which challenged a judge’s decision last week to extend his arrest a fourth time for 30 days, Ramona Bolla, a spokesperson for Romania’s anti-organized crime agency, DIICOT, said Friday. Tate, 36, a British-U.S. citizen who has 5.4 million Twitter followers, was initially detained in December in Romania’s capital Bucharest, along with his brother and two Romanian women. All four won an appeal Friday, and will remain under house arrest until Apr. 29.
