Biden spoke Monday morning on the government’s response to the storm, which has devastated communities across ten states. "It’s not just a catastrophic storm, it’s a historic, history-making storm - the entire Southeast and Appalachia ," he said.
"We will not do that at the risk of diverting or delaying any of the response assets needed to deal with this crisis," he said. He said he expects to travel Wednesday or Thursday, and to be in North Carolina in particular. When asked if Donald Trump’s presence in Georgia Monday was going to be disruptive, Biden said he didn’t have "any idea.
