For the game, Hartzog was 4-for-4 with a run batted in and Smith had two hits and two RBI. Aden Gordon had a double and RBI and Lewis had a double and three RBI. Gavin Fultz drove in two runs and Aaron Beasley had a single and RBI. Morris went all seven innings and scattered six hits and allowed one unearned run to pick up the Raider pitching win. He struck out five and walked two.
Trotter had two hits and three runs batted in and Bass had two hits for Rehobeth . Chumney, Shiver and Lewis all had a hit and RBI. Brady Richardson pitched a complete game in the opener, striking out seven and allowing only four hits and a run. Cayden Boutwell was 3-for-3 with a run batted in to lead the offense. Walker Turner had two hits and two RBI, Brady Cavanaugh had two doubles and Mikey Vanderheyden had two hits with one RBI.
G.W. Long won despite getting just three hits – a run-scoring triple by Will Bush and a single each from AJ Duson and Blayne Wood. Cohen Pritchett scored on a passed ball, Eben Pritchett and Bryce Smith both had an RBI ground out and Bryson Hughes had a RBI sacrifice fly. Ariton 16, W.S. Neal 1: Lawson Leger earned three doubles and drove in four runs and Myles Tyler had three singles and two runs batted in to lead Class 2A top-ranked Ariton .
John Lott had two hits and two runs batted in and Garrott and Kade Brookins both had a double with two RBI. Pruitt Vaughan and Weston Garrett added a hit and RBI each. In game two, Miller pitched a one-hit shutout over three innings with six strikeouts and Bedsole retired all three batters he faced in the final inning, two on strikeouts.
In game two, Hodges had two hits, while Jaxon Langham had a hit with two runs batted in. King and Sorrells both had a hit and RBI. For Eufaula, Ty McCoy had two hits and Browning Anderson, Jaxon Leverette and Ja’Kori Rumph all had a hit and RBI each.Goshen had only two hits – a single each from Parks Snyder and Cody Boyett. Cade Edwards and Layton Burgans had an RBI each.Kinston won the first game with two runs in the bottom of the seventh with Cade Jones scoring on a passed ball for the winning run.
In the second game for Elba, Cameron Gray had two hits, one a double, and Ty Sieving and Jay Wilson both had a hit and RBI with Sieving’s hit a double. Poplar Springs 17, Emmanuel Christian 0: The Warriors had only three hits in the loss to the Atomics.Enterprise 18, Opp 9: Enterprise scored 10 runs in the top of the fifth to overcome an 9-8 deficit and earn the win.
