The Center for Neurogenetics at UTHealth Houston, under the leadership of Dr. Dennis Lal, seeks a motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join an innovative research team. This role focuses on advancing neurogenetics research by integrating genomics, bioinformatics, and clinical data, particularly in epilepsy and neurodevelopmental disorders. The fellow will engage in diverse projects, ranging from large-scale genomic data analysis to the development of computational tools and bioinformatic pipelines.
o Lead independent research projects, contribute to team publications, and present findings in conferences.o Strengthen expertise in bioinformatics and computational biology through project work and training.5. Professional Growth:o Work towards achieving rapid career advancement and research recognition through high-quality publications.o Present research findings at national and international conferences.
2. Assists in training and mentoring of lab personnel, including graduate students and other trainees.4.
