Darrion Tyshawn Hearns, 21, of Opelika, was identified as one of the armed suspects and arrested Aug. 28. He is charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary. Tamira Shamia Simmons, 23, of Opelika, was identified as an “indirect participant” in the crime and arrested on Sept. 2.
