Dauphin County’s District Attorney has ruled that the use of deadly force in the killing of Kendrell Hall was justified.
Hall captured on video pointing a pistol at police before he was fatally shot by officers on June 9, 2024, according to the Dauphin County District Attorney's Office.
On June 9, Harrisburg and Capitol police officers responded in the early morning hours to reports of shots fired around 2nd and Pine Streets.A Harrisburg officer spotted Hall and ordered him to stop. Hall’s firearm was a Glock 9mm pistol with an extended magazine and “Glock switch,” which allowed it to discharge automatic fire, the DA said.
