Police are appealing for witnesses
Police in Mid Ulster are investigating after a man armed with a spanner is reported to have carried out a burglary at a commercial premises in Coalisland.
The suspect is described as being in his late 30s to early 40s and dressed all in black, and was wearing a glove.Police have appealed for anyone who may have been in the area at the time to come forward with information. Detective Inspector Ryan said: “At around 9:15pm, it was reported that a man has entered a shop in the area armed with a spanner. It was reported the man threatened a male member of staff and managed to make off with a sum of money towards the Barrack Street area following the incident.
