JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police were alerted to a shooting at 9:30 p.m. Sunday by a ShotSpotter notification, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
A person called in shortly after, reporting a shooting at the same location in the 1400 block of Royal Court Lane.He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
