Murray police are looking for a driver of this Nissan Frontier that hit and killed a pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash Friday night.
The man who died in the crash was not from Utah, police say, but they have not released his name or where he was from. He was in Utah for the weekend's general conference and next-of-kin have been notified of the man's death. He was in his 70s, police said. " could have been going anywhere, could have been going to Wheeler Farm or leaving Wheeler Farm or walking to one of the businesses close to there," Reardon said.Witnesses told police the pedestrian was hit by a newer model Nissan Frontier that then fled the scene. They say the pickup truck had a roof rack and a broken headlight on the passenger side following the crash.Ashley Fredde covers human services and and women's issues for KSL.com.
