Thorough exploration is a major component of Nintendo's cozy outing, Pokèmon Pokopia, constantly rewarding you for searching every nook and cranny of its massive world. There are a lot of ways to move around, but the fact that the game lets you instantly mantle over any single block may lead you to assume there's no reason for a traditional jump.
Well, you may be shocked to find that Pokèmon Pokopia actually does feature the ability to hop about. You'll unlock the ability to jump in the main story of Pokèmon Pokopia, but it's reasonable to feel a bit lost while taking in all the sights, so you may overlook it during the early hours. Below, we'll tell you where to go to get your jump so that you can start hopping your way up even higher than before. How To Jump In Pokèmon Pokopia To find the spot you'll need to go to learn the jump ability, face south of the Pokèmon Center in the game's starting area. Note a cave entrance out in the distance, then make your way to it. Inside the small cave, punch your way through the rock wall to reach an open beach area. Straight ahead near the broken pier should be a Magikarp flopping around in the water. Speak to the Magikarp to learn that he wants an Ocean Fishing Spot habitat built. Half the work is done for you already, as evidenced by the fishing pole sitting nearby. All you'll need to add to this location is a Log Chair. There's a crafting bench nearby where you can toss one of these together using a single Small Log. Return to the fishing pole and place the Log Chair directly beside it to complete Magikarp's Ocean Fishing Spot habitat. He'll be thrilled. Once you've learned how to jump, you'll simply need to press R at any time to do so. This will allow you to reach spots a little easier than mere mantling, especially if it requires crossing gaps.
