The Point team rallied from behind to defeat the Eagles in a thrilling game. After trailing by two touchdowns, Point tied the game and ultimately took the lead late in the fourth quarter thanks to a field goal.

They went on to extend the lead late in the second quarter, thanks to a 17-yard run into the endzone by Robin Harris, to give them a 14-point lead late in the first half.
Point was able to get on the scoreboard in the final seconds of the first half when Mitchell Gosset rumbled into the endzone from three yards out to make it a seven-point game at the half. Point went on to tie the game up with just under six minutes remaining in the third quarter after Gosset found Payton Allen for a 13-yard touchdown pass.
Early in the fourth quarter, Point took their first lead of the night when Logan Wandzilak hit a 39-yard field goal. The Eagles answered right back when Marsha hit La’Derrick Bell for a big 58-yard touchdown pass, giving the Eagles a three-point lead with under ten minutes to go in the game. Point had a chance in the final minute to go for the win or the tie, but the Faulkner defense held strong and took the ball over on downs, ultimately ending the game.Faulkner will welcome in Lindsey Wilson College next weekend to Billy D. Hilyer Stadium as they look to improve to 3-2.
