Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts’ strong performance this summer did not carry over.

During training camp, Hurts made good decisions, was accurate and seemed comfortable in new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore’s system. He didn’t even throw an interception until the final practice.On the first drive of the game, Hurts dropped back into the end zone and launched a deep pass to wide receiver DeVonta Smith, but it fell short and was picked off by Packers safety Xavier McKinney. Smith was unable to create separation, so the ball should have never been thrown.
Instead, the Packers drove down the field and made a field goal, which made it a five-point game with seven minutes and 56 seconds left.
